Limited rarity weapons are usually irreparable but are a lot more durable than regular weapons. That's what I've noticed about them anyway.

I just gotta rant about this expert grapple controls for console. And I’ve said this multiple times and I’ll probably end up saying it multiple times again. They are horrible and clunky. Normally for console you hold L1 to swing and press the jump button while swinging to kinda pull yourself. But when using the expert grapple controls it’s nearly impossible cause if you let go of one of the buttons that being either the jump button or the block button you’ll just fall outta the sky and probably die. The button inputs are horrible. And the main reason anyone would have the setting on is so they can use the grapple during beast mode in case they don’t have it equipped when the activate it. Even though L1 doesn’t do anything in beast mode. So why do you need to have the grapple equipped to use the skill when the equipment button doesn’t do anything to begin with? I love this game but I had to get that off my chest

Me... ~6.5/10, just got some gripes with it. Like some weapons dropped from enemies can't be picked up for some reason, can't loot stuff if it's in a bush half the time, the Truck's extent of customization is a Paint Job, The map could be bigger for a $60 game, and could have more Side Quests than 20... and the Skill Tree doesn't quite feel like the past two games, with the story feeling a bit padded by travelling to the other side of the map, later in the storyline. If these weren't an issue, I'd say like... 8.5 or 9, 9.5/10. That said, I'd say in it's current state, I'd wait for a sale...

I don’t think legend levels will help. weapons do 100 of millions of damage and it’s kinda tedious. legend levels 300 is actually a lot but the problem is there isn’t enough content to do for grinding towards it. Restored land doesn’t count for legend levels so there’s no incentive there for anyone grinding legend levels and it’s not co-op

Hi everyone, I have a question. After testing all upscalers, I’m really noticing that effects like smoke, fire, explosions, clouds, weapon mod effects, electric effects, and blood hit smoke all look very pixelated and low quality, even though I’m playing on high settings at 2K with the highest upscaling option. I usually use DLAA because it looks better than the other upscalers, but the issue still persists.

I had the exact same problem in Dying Light 2 years ago. Back then, disabling the upscaler fixed the pixelation and low quality effects, but it also made foliage and other graphics look noticeably worse. In Dying Light: The Beast, however, we can’t fully turn off the upscaler, and using DLAA doesn’t seem to fix the issue either.

I’ve also noticed this problem in other content creators videos, so I wanted to ask, are you all experiencing the same issue as well?

I know what you mean, for me its most noticeable with foliage and certain shadows in cutscenes, despite settings being on high, they look pixelated / low quality. could a lack of vram affect these things?

I'm on a 5070, so VRAM isn't really an issue. The game runs very well overall, and the foliage looks fine to me. However, I do notice that grass shadows and vehicle shadows sometimes appear to shimmer.

Using a bow and crossbow in this game is pointless; the arrows break and can't be used again.

In the DL1 it was much better, because they didn't break.
