I'm thinking how I will approach the mode, rush it or really get immersed into it, start by clearing old town bit by bit, then slowly move to the surrounding areas.
Do I loot all the buildings as I clear them or come back later to loot as I need items.
I'm also curious how human enemies will behave, will they be more present in areas you cleared after a while, will human encounter happen more frequently in areas that are clear of infected

My first contact with dynamic day night and weather cycles was Kojimas MGSV and since then i really love it when developers implement these.
The athmosphere created during rains really gives the whole world this kick.
Something im a bit sad about is that i barely encounter rain when free roaming and storms almost never. Its such a great experience even if its only a small rain, which comes to short.
Adding some fog in the morning hours or randomly after rain would be a great addition too, giving the world a feeling of Peace even though everything went down the hill.
Fog in general creates this feeling of being constantly watched and never knowing what will come next while you walk through it and i wish it would have more presence during free roaming.

I would be happy to hear what your thoughts on this are

(And i really like how real life accurate the ac and Ventilation units are. Makes my mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology heart happy to see this rare sight in a game )
