It’s not a glitch. Idkn why they’re calling it that. You only run in and outside of old town and the vendor just refreshes their inventory. Same with the cave but the vendor in old town is faster. But now that NG+ gives boxes after each mission and convoys can have a legendary weapon. I don’t do it anymore. I’ve collected 5 piercers casually.

It’s because the game scales per player so when you join someone your not only making the game harder for them but you also can’t contribute so they have to carry you which not many people are going to want to do. Best to as in the LFG channel rather than joining randoms and being an anchor

The game scales per person as I said, doesn’t matter what level you are you can be level 1 or level 300 it scales the same so it makes their game twice as hard.

Two sides of that coin though, it wouldn’t be much fun if enemies didn’t scale it would just be too easy. Better to make it challenging otherwise people won’t play it due to getting bored. Nothing wrong with looking for a higher NG+ game to join but you should definitely work on your own because if you over level on someone else’s game you’ll be too strong for your own and that may be fun for an hour or 2 one shotting everything but when you ultimately get bored and want it to be balanced again you’ll have to do multiple NG+

In my experience you can run by volatiles barely taking notice if you are quick enough. (Except the alpha tracking you down on nightmare) Compared to DL2’s nightmare difficulty volatiles where they can almost instantly detect you cause of their modifier is quite the difference.

I wish night time garnered more rewards or activities that makes it more worth. Or lively encounters to see humans get shred apart by the infected and volatiles making it that you are not alone out there exploring the night or something lol

Currently on NG+4 and sitting around 180hours, not bored with the game yet but went back to DL2 for the outbreak event and started a new fresh nightmare save and enjoying it again along with some other games until new content is added later this month.
I also hope that they will add in outpost bounties and an armory section for the beast soon along with an agent vendor for some endgame type content, those are the 3 top things id like to see added in the short term to the game.

I spent around 20 hours on my first playthrough. I did "some" wandering around like collecting almost all of the armor pieces before even starting the 5th story mission as well as a couple side quests.

Alien isolation is basically where he tracks you by sound and scent I believe but can hide from. The RE nemesis he tracks by being relentless and is everywhere he’s just persistent and you have to do damage to him a bit to get rid of him for the moment but the beast to basically do that you have to kill the alpha lol

It’d take a lot of work to make it run on last gen I just don’t see it being worth all that better to just not promise to release it on last gen and give people a partial refund. They’ve got everything else except DLC 2 so giving the people a couple bucks a piece shouldn’t be that big of a deal

I would personally focus on Merc/Soldier/Bruiser mix of clothing for simple flat mitigation damage reduction. Heavy armor don’t give you other bonuses to play style nor I think it’s good, unless you play lower difficulties that is.

Due to nightmare’s formula from 2, doesn’t it give you like 0.6% per point of gear value? I haven’t calculated let’s say a full set of bruisers or mercs and soldiers to see with the flat mitigation if it gives close values to protection as heavy armor but ehh. I barely use heavy armor since it has no extra* stats. Maybe I should try using the set again the next time I boot up to see then
