Your fan and vents are probably clogged up, it can happen overtime or the cpu/gpu whatever it’s called might not have paste on it or it’s oxidized so you’ll have to add more

It could be outdated paste in your hardware that keeps the temperatures regulated amongst your CPU/GPU or dust for that matter. Also needs good airflow space too.

Maybe Alpha volatiles drop crafting resources I’ve only killed a couple. I’ve killed hundreds if not thousands of Volatiles and never gotten crafting loot and I’ve been playing since day 1

If they aren’t there yet try restarting your game, the distribution process starts once you log in and can take up to 24 hours to show up. If it’s been more than 24 hours and restarting your game doesn’t fix it you can submit a support ticket.

I’ve put 350+ hours into it, but there’s not currently a whole lot of content. Great game though, you’ll easily get over a hundred out of it at least if you love DL. The average joe will probably get around 60-70 out of it.

Yeah DL1 has more post launch content but that’s also because it’s 10 years old. The beast is only a couple months old, it’s probably not going to get that amount of content like 1-2 did though. That could definitely change but as of now it’s got the 300 legend levels and NG+ but not much else

You really don’t NEED weapons. You have parkour attacks, kick, the hands god gave you and the trust drop kick that will destroy enemies in front of you

They restock incredibly fast, if your in old town and you loot a dark zone if you run to the next closest dark zone and loot that one you’ll be able to run back to the first one and all loot will have respawned. Military convoys are also a good place to get decent weapons from. Drop kick the military zombie and pick up the key, then lead the infected away from the truck and open the door to get the weapon. There’s SO MANY ways to go about getting weapons and you can find them all over the place while exploring your just not doing it correctly I’m assuming this is your first DL game?

There will always be one military infected with a key per military truck so if there’s just one truck there will be one infected with the key, if there’s 3 trucks there will be 3. You can use survivor sense and it’ll show you which infected has the key. If humans are guarding the convoy you’ll have to get the key off of one of the military bodies around the convoy which you can find with survivor sense

There will never be a time there isn’t a key.

Normally yes, but you do a lot of damage in the beast and enemies do too so focusing on damage resistance and the stamina upgrades to stay in the fight longer are more important imo. I upgraded doing more damage last

Swing speed it also important especially if you use 1.5h or 2h weapons. It’ll allow you to attack faster, pair that with stamina and stamina regen upgrades and you’ll be good to go 👍🏽

I don’t ever run out of stamina since I got my stats set up so I gain about 1/4 my stamina bar back each kill, but I do typically dodge a lot and avoid getting hit, hell I usually don’t get hit at all during boss fights

My issue was usually that regardless of my damage being high or not, it always seems like I have to beat the ever living hell out of some infected

Some walkers will take 1 hit and die and some will take 9 and still be trying to get back up, and surely my world can’t be that unevenly leveled right?

Bro the more I talk to people about the game the more I’m convinced the NG+ level scaling doesn’t work properly still

It scales roughly 30 levels per NG+ unless your level 300 before NG+10 then the game will scale to you so for example if your level 300 going into NG+2 instead of level 60 enemies they’ll be level 300

I’ve done 13NG+ it’s pretty balanced imo, and I’ve beaten the game 6-7 times helping people in the LFG channel. The game only scales up to NG+11 I did 2 more just for the resources and loot

What’s not balanced is if I join someone who’s a lower level than me it doesn’t scale me down or them up

So I one shot everything, thankfully I kept a bunch of weapons from the various levels so I can use a weapon to match them so I’m dominating their game

They’ll still do a lot of damage that’s why damage resistance is good to have. Your a bit over leveled for NG+3 but it’s not that crazy of difference based on your level you should be on 4-5

How do you get the nightmare survivor role and the zombie roles

you get zombie roles by chatting

by sending messages you earn xp

by earning enough xp you level up

every 10 levels you get a new zombie role

now lastly nightmare survivor role

this role is obtainable from beating dying light 2 stay human on nightmare mode

this role is no longer obtainable though

After you complete your normal levels you get legend levels and you can upgrade a stat of kyle that you normally cant on normal levels

the game needs some sort of repeatable raids or agents like in DL2 to grind for cracked gear. There's just nothing to do after the side quests are done, can't even fight volatiles on high ng+ on nightmare

wall run is part of basic skills unlocked automatically, press on kyle on skills tab to see them

The sniper scope is probably the piercer, I think you can find it at the cave vendor but it doesn’t spawn often.

When human enemies shoot their guns there

It alerts virals to them.

How an old game had more aesthetic to detail than modern sequels is beyond me

It kinda bothers me again. DL1 a game ahead of its time with all these missing features and details.

Because the grappling hook in the beast is something you swing with. And if you got a max lvl grapple hook then you can use L1 (if your on PlayStation) to pull you up) while in dying light 1 it just pulls you.
