Same my first play through took about 43 hours because I took my time and explored, looted etc. to get the 100% including Easter eggs it took about 63 hours because I wasn’t rushing and still taking it all in but as I said before I’m now at the point I can beat the game in 3 hours

Same way DL2 was, I mean that game is easier in general but i remember thinking it was too easy as I made my way up to LL300 and NG+10 but when I got up to NG+8-9 I started to feel the difficulty spike. If you want to experience the full nightmare your better of being between 8-11. Or if it’s your first play through it’ll be pretty hard too because you aren’t OP yet. Maybe Nightmare makes it to where you don’t one shot enemies starting on 6-7 but I doubt it.

And if you really don’t want to finish your NG+ runs there’s still benefits other than difficulty that Nightmare offers like the hunger system which I’m most excited for especially if implemented correctly but also new enemy behavior is huge especially for boss fights. I imagine there will be a change to the stamina system as well I’m not sure what they’ll do exactly though

I just did whatever my main weapon type to kill volatiles first. Then stamina and other weapon damages. Then I just did random ones like crafting and beast accumulation

I feel like we will hit the first goal at least which means as long as we don’t fail another one we’re good, I’ve been contributing as much as possible but I know everyone isn’t unfortunately there’s a lot of people who will do one of whatever the challenge is and let everybody do the rest. It’s also unfortunate the truck skin sucks so bad it’s hardly worth the effort, at least the weapon look good though.

The game is actually scary so I’ll give them that, but after your first couple hours and you level up you should be good to go. I think people got too comfortable with DL2 with basically no horror elements and nighttime being as bright as daylight damn near. The game being scary is apart of what makes it so good, you get scared then knock the hell out of what scared you and keep it pushing but I guess people aren’t doing that.

If you landed no crits, with no stealth modifier, pre-patch was 3 light attacks for 2H on Brutal. If you crit, there were some weapon mod combos that could oneshot after all of the DoT damage played out. Now NG+11 biters, with all the same conditions met, get oneshot regardless.

2 lights for onehanded weapons, 1 light for 2H. Power attacks are now pointless, windmill is now a tactical nuke instead of a strong defensive option, most other skills don't even have to be used because stuff just explodes

But I don’t see them adding 10 more NG+ simply because people are already not doing the first 10, they get max level then join randoms on there first play through and ruin their game by one shorting everything I’ve seen it first hand. When I join low levels I use a weapon to match their level so I’m not ruining their experience of the game

Dang I hate all of the characters they suck and are cringy except the black samurai dude he’s pretty chill, the graphics and gore carry that game everything else sucks like not having an open word, the combat is super dull and feels unfulfilling as well what makes it bearable is how good the gore looks when attacking enemies. I will say some of the weapon designs do look pretty good and the story also sucks ass. It’s not a horrible game by any means it’s just not a great one either it’s just okay for me. I wouldn’t have pre ordered it neither would I have paid full price if I knew what I was getting into it’s definitely one of those you wait until it’s on sale or even better wait til it’s free 😅

Guys has anyone experienced that the library tower is bugged after completing everything? I legit watched a youtube video so it’s not my fault. I connected the last cable after going up the ladder but the im not allowed to use the bed neither does the UV light works and on the map it doesn’t count as completed. But little quest steps like ,,kill all zombies in the area“ or ,,restore the power“ disappeared. It’s really strange. Nothing works, resetted the game, left the area.

I don't touch the night runs as to me, there's little incentive to go out at night, volatiles drop money or MRE rations and the odd medkit, with DL2 they had substantially more on offer in terms of drops. The loot from dark zones is almost always the same, no chance of unique weapon drops from them, at least, not from what I've seen. Night runs don't feel as rewarding. I've only went out at night to level up the legend level by camping outside town hall and getting a chase.
