It means this LOD missing material on this side. You cannot fix the material, but you can increase LOD visbility by selecting mesh and in attributes somewhere is LOD Visibility. Set it to Force0 or something.

I was checking the scripts, but it seems it will be troublesome. It's not possible to make it in easy way. You can fake it tho a bit.

@hushed flint found how you do the safe zone size, check _q_19_safezone.prefab and you will see sanctuary.prefab is using sanctuary_area (which is area_marker.prefab) to indicate safezone area. Just scale your area_marker to shape it or make it bigger
This is kinda old logic, there is no need for location.prefab anymore. I will do short tutorial about how to setup.

In Scene window theres sandbox and level. Drag all assets you want visible in game under level category

why on certain prefabs texture are grey out and we can't change them in attribute>meshes ?

you mean Mesh Skin? Maybe they just have one material. Try look for smillar mesh.
if you take a look at bc_bridge_platform_base_surv_d the pillar are greyed out while other have good materials
and in the Attribute > Meshes i can't change them cause it's greyed out also
So it means there is no material for it, can't be helped not sure if its missing asset or it should be like this. Sorry, can't help you here.

it'll duplicate-- if you want to replicate the exact position as the original copy you can just copy / paste the coordinates

you can change it into default_player_setup at the "end" (preset "GIVE_ALL")
and if you want to increase inhibitors, experience, combat and traversal take look at Preset("E3_2019") in the same file as i mentioned above

Muttiactivity Behavior, so NPC can Get In and Out from such Behavior. Easier to find "Combat", but some NPCs can be untouchable since they are defined like that (depends on preset, not sure if its visible from attributes). Also remeber to have GenericBehaviorDissallowed on False if you want fight it.

When I play the game I have to use the upscaling to have high fps. For that the game relaunches in DX12 mode. However when I attempt to do that in the dev tools, the game never launches in DX12 mode, it just reverts to the default. Is there a way to force the dev tool game to boot up in DX12? (Not the editor, the game when playing the map)

Working for meshes, force certain LOD in DT.
If a quest does not start at all, what could be the issue? It compiles without errors, it just does not start. The setup is similar to your video with the wait timer. I have set the campaign properties to link to the map that is used.

I can't send screenshots because of being new. Could it be that quests require some extra setup to show up outside of the story editor? I want to set up a simple quest for moving to points without npc interaction.

I have issue with my quest not working as well with no errors in log. I actually had it working before from start to completion with dialogues all working. Now I can't talk to the quest giver.

Just go to unused Story. File -> Campagain, and remove your map from it.

ok to anyone else having the same issue: if your quests wont load, try to reload the entire project. Especially if you deleted a previous story.

No, it's just a validation that telling you of what you should remember, but they can stay as they is.

well its none of these. i also now figured out that it has something to do with the MissionCheckpoint thingy
if i place a MissionCheckpoint sleeping is no longer safe for some reason
