Cuz for every api shit you need to make a converter from NMS to API and vice versa, usually that converter is just a CraftX or PaperX or whatever class receiving NMS type in its constructor and assigning it to a handle field, but when it comes to registries we need to convert every nms type to api type, such mechanism Machine Maker started making in io.papermc.paper.registry.PaperRegistry internal class, for now it is used only in Structure api (or how is it called?) and better potion api PR, and prob in a few other PRs which I didn't hear about... The only conclusion I came in here, why do we forbid api users use nms? We can allow using simple NMS things such as Block, BlockState and have no api condoms, but for harder concepts make api around them, this is basically describes what forge does, so we need to make a server side forge if we really want superpowers without loosing too many things and not overcomplicating api internals with converters.

Vaccine reduce the symptoms if you do contract it. It’s not 100% preventive but 100% effective in making you suffer less. I don’t get how people cannot grasp this simple concept lol

as far as im aware you can block *.minecraft.net but motd's will still get sent through and cracked players will be able to join
