Anyone have any ideas for how to handle PVP on a survival server? I have an RPG server and I want to incorporate PVP into it in a fair way that makes the game more interesting.

Ideas we’ve had:

• After being killed, the victim respawns where they were killed (10 second cooldown) and with strength/health buffs for 60 seconds so they can track down their killer.

OR

• After being killed, the victim respawns somewhere random near where they died, up to 150 blocks away, and a chest is placed near them with their items (minus 30% of their ores/gems) and a piece of paper with their death coordinates.

OR

Amethyst geodes have a 1/24 chance of generating per chunk, while gold ore blobs are generated up to four times per chunk. But amethyst geodes contain a lot more amethyst so in the end its probably pretty equal.

basically all my servers and website and discord bots hosted all turn off, I login to ssh, greeted with that error. Restarting whole dedi fixes it but until it happens again every day or so.

google, people are telling me that the FileSystem randomly becoming read only could be signs of a bad harddrive.

could be the FS, could be the disk, could be the kernel

according to the warranty card, the software MUST be on it's original state, that mean downgrading to windows 10 will 100% void my warranty.

I work for a company that deals with all the laptop manufacturers

and I have done my share of RMAs in the past, never a thing

if you are worried about it you can always clone the original drive to an image and put it somewhere and restore when you need warranty
