So a server I used to play on used a bunch of custom plugins to implement starships on a server, with no mods required, just a texture pack.
In early 2020 there was a major duping case on the server, the person who did it was banned but staff were lazy and did not properly clean it all up... and knowingly let major nations (basically factions) on the server keep a lot of the duped items they had bought from the duper.
Sense then the servers economy was basically broken, and no one with the ability to fix it cared enough to.
Fast forward to April 2021 and there is another major duping case, this time a more competent staff member (and a friend of mine), use core protect to find stacks and stacks of unobtainable items or impossibly large amounts of obtainable ones.
This caused most of the servers population to start wanting a full reset, an idea people previously rejected as the server had history dating back around 3 to 4 years.
It was decided that the server would reset, along side a major content update... which people are still waiting on.
Unfortunately the custom plugins used by the server are closed source, and in an effort to hopefully cause more servers like the one I used to play on I am recreating the plugins from scratch, but making it easy for people to customise the way the mechanics work, allowing the plugin to be configured to mimic the old server, or create something new.

The plugins on that server were built specifically for that server, with no configuration in mind.
The plugin I am creating is designed so all of the behaviour is determined by a config file, people can configure it to be as different or as similar as they like.
