internal bias tests are a very useful tool, but idk wtf that "judaism vs islam" test is doing.
Internal bias tests over racism & sexism etc are a really good, if very uncomfortable tool. You have to take it seriously and not try to skew the results by intentionally trying really hard to choose the "right" answer. Gotta just take it as is and choose how you feel right when you read the question.
After the test you can review your results to see where your biases land and you can use that data at your own discretion to work on changing those biases if you want to. Changing biases is one of the hardest things to do though so it would require you to be dedicated to it

Sounds like more of an issue with their bare-bones configuration management solution. Generally when I run into this issue I have a "provisioning" key that their (Linode/Amazon/etc) configuration management solution has, and then have Ansible add my specific key(s), and remove the old one.
Additional advantage of that approach is the provider is essentially irrelevant, since all final configuration management happens using idempotent Ansible modules
