nice. from what i've seen of the bungee api, creating a new "server definition" or whatever via velocity is far less of a pain
my system would pull a list of servers from a program which managed all the servers & their containers into the proxy and distribute players accordingly
the extra program could've just been part of the plugin too but the docker api with go is already garbage enough

Hey all! I'm trying to beta test the Cave Generation preview seen at the bottom of the page here: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/caves---cliffs--part-i-out-today-java in a singleplayer world prior to trying to use it on my actual server with Paper 1.17, I downloaded it, extracted it, put it into the datapack choice thing when creating a world, and generated it. It didn't end up working, but i was trying to generate with a set seed at the time, so i tried generating with a random one, still, no dice. I've tried using ./datapack enable (name) and going out to unloaded chunks and that didn't work either. Am i installing it wrong, I've seen other people who are able to generate the new caves just fine but this isn't working for me. Thanks in advance for any help!

- On their start page, they offer ads to you without consent
- Their own version of making money "BAT", is forced on you and automatically on.
- Chromium & they don't have public repos to check code
- Privately owned company instead of community such as Mozilla

With the Illegal Reflection issue, i understand its Protocollibs that needs to fix it if i understand correctly but, it seems like they are in no rush as this has been an issue since Java 11, or maybe they can't fix it, who knows. i only use 1 plugin that uses it, libs disguises but a friend uses a few and he says when updating to Java 16 and with all updated plugins it breaks a few so he's likely stuck on Java 8 until it's sorted by the plugin devs and protocolib. I understand that he's busy with life like the rest of us. Been quite a while now though, i'm surprised he doesn't have some kind of support if it's just him.

well afaik it's theoretically possible to introduce into paper 4 nodes, minecraft.op.1 and minecraft.op.2 minecraft.op.3 minecraft.op.4 that would grant access to all things those op levels normally grant access to serverside. I don't know about clientside but it might be possible to tell the client from the server that a user is oplevel x if they have the perm and try to do something
