Yeah I don't know, it's beyond me too I'm afraid. you can probably debug it with finer hikari logging, or just try much lower pool sizes / timeouts
especially low throughput servers, probably worth lowering minimum-idle
another thing you can try is swapping to the mysql driver instead of mariadb (just swap the storage-method property in LP config)
if other plugins using hikari aren't having the issue, that might be what the difference is
