You could try working in a top-to-bottom approach, where you first tackle the bigger issue and only then worry about the smaller details. For example, if you make a gui which has options to teleport you to spawn, see some stats about you, manage your friends etc. you first create the gui without any functionality, then move on to add the functionality to each part. (In this case the gui is the large issue and the functionality of the individual things are the smaller issues.)
