and in our bathroom we had intended to install a light right over the mirror, with a cable hanging out of the wall for it. In the summer I finally wanted to install the light there, and for some reason the cable hanging out of the wall was

always on, even when the switch was off
because the switch just wasn't wired up
instead of a normal cable (with 3 leads and 1 phase) there was a 3 phase cable installed there for a simple lightbulb
