So at work we have HA IPA setup, which included, AFAIK, 4 instances. Each has LDAP, DNS, etc. Everything was replicated, so it was fine. But at some point, 2 instances died and the remaining refused to synchronize with each other, so you need to make changes to both of them. Now we are migrating to new instances, so everything you modify on one instance, you need to also do for the other 2.
Let me tell you - debugging DNS issues where half of the network uses old setup and the other one uses new, while people make typos while making changes, is very fun.
