heyo, I made a texture pack using custom models and all my textures worked completely fine in 1.15.2, I just updated to 1.16.3 and the chestplate textures are all purple/black squares. I'd recommend using pins 5, 6, and 9 for PWM output instead of 9, 10, and 11. Pins 10 and 11 are used for SPI, and pin 3 is used for hardware interrupt. So by using 5, 6, and 9, you're using pins that can't possibly be used for anything else (which is handy if you decide to upgrade the project later).
Beefy MOSFETs have a relatively high capacitance which can damage MCU pins because of inrush current. I've heard that this is a myth in most situations, but when in doubt just go with "tradition" which is to just leave a resistor between the MCU pin and the fet's gate. You can do the math based on the frequency, exact fet, etc. if you want to be 100% sure.
