Are you certain it's your host and not some other issue? For example the server saves the world intermittently and this will crush TPS when it happens. If you have a fuckload of plugins and one or more of them have intermittent heavy tasks on the main thread, that will crush your TPS.

so i had play.empathyminecraft.com set up to work as my server's ip when the domain was hosted by godaddy, but i transferred it to bluehost.
i need to set it up so it works with this new host but i'm not sure how to do it or explain the terminology to the tech support.
can someone help me figure out how to explain to them what i need to do so they understand and help me figure out how to set it up?
