If you try a loop, you're saying "if just one iteration fails, break and catch the error". If you try an iteration, you're saying "if something in this iteration fails, handle that and give me back control".
I mean it depends on what you're doing. Sometimes it makes sense to continue with other iterations, sometimes you need to fail fast.
