most of the backgrounds in the OT were paintings, called matte paintings, where moving things would be projected onto it, the techniques used at that time were incredible considering it was almost entirely done on film and no digital editting was used / possible

I think Microsoft made an attempt with Edge, but alas, I only used Edge to download Firefox (a task it's great at) and to view PDFs (which it doesn't do a half-bad job)

just jump, place a block, and jump again
if you time it right you can do this to scale flat walls
