Each portal block ticks. So that 25x25 huge portal someone made is 625 ticking blocks. Multiply that by 10 because no one ever has just 1 for a gold farm. Them multiply that by how ever many players are doing it.. that's a lot of ticking blocks..

What I did to combat that was I made that type of farm worthless. Basically I modified the pigmen drops to only drop rotten flesh. ^_^

Yeah, a datapack to change the drops and remove gold items is the easiest way. My patch still alows gold to drop but only from the pigmen you actually killed (not the ones that fell to their death from anger like most farms do)

Hey everyone. Are there any serious and experienced MC server admins that could give me a hand here? I'm second admin to an owner who has been away for an amount of time and I've come across an error that I've found no information on.
Specifically, we use FireDaemon Pro to manage our servers uptime and it won't let me start our main or test server giving the error Warning - only 0 of the 1 FireDaemon services are now started. as well as giving the io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information: ingame error on attempt to join.
Any information or help is very greatly appreciated, send me a DM or reply somewhere, I just need help.

What happens for me is that when the file is opened, the Minecraft process is blocked until the file viewer is closed

it looks like it's blocking the game while opening the file, and then thinks the file is opening when it's open, which is kinda dumb

Taking the screenshot is fine, it's opening it that freezes the game

The 9900K has a decent improvement but afaik that's almost entirely due to higher stock clocks, that's their best binning

A 7700K that wins the silicon lottery will overclock to as good or better perf levels than that

Looks like I was wrong about the newer ones not overclocking as well though, that seems to have been an Ivy Bridge through Broadwell thing, all the Skylake generations have generally overclocked to similar levels or gotten better in later generations

Oh yeah, same. Most of my friends and I talk English because anything else feels weird, as we went to the same InterNationaL BuSineSs SchoOl. I only consume English media. I study in English and so if I'm not actively engaging with Swedes, I definitely think in English rather than Swedish

the syntax is different, the grammar is different, we use completely different tenses and most damning of all the words that we do share can have vastly different meanings which make them completely unusable

they were occupied by Denmark for ages, so they used the Danish alphabet and Danish spelling. Then they became independent and some dude decided they should have their own spelling of words that actually match the pronunciation, so they introduced Nynorsk. Only that no one fucking uses it, besides like 10% of people surrounding Oslo. A language with like 5 million native speakers has two completely separate written versions of the bloody language
