There's something called the Single Responsibility Principle which says that all your classes should have one single responsibility.
Of course for very small plugins maybe it's easier to to have everything in your main class, but if you're planning on making this into even just a medium-sized plugin, organizing it like that is the way to go.

I'm working on a system that would make day and night last 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes... making a full day 1 hour. But to check if it was actually working I made it make time really fast.

don't change paper's settings, when you start minecraft it should show up under lan. if it does not enter localhost as the IP, thats all you need to do as long as the server is on the same computer you are playing on

So I'm assuming the time goes up by 1 every single tick. I changed it to go up by 0.7 and I'm using ceil to round it to a whole number. If I'm correct this should slowdown minecraft time by 70%.

If they can, just do a check for players in beds, then just ramp up the speed for a bit

fill doesn't necessarily always load chunks. I assume it looks to see if the region has been "touched" (the file is there) and if it is it skips the loading of chunks in that area.
So a generate force set to true is needed
but it doesn't persist after a server restart.
we are talking about a generation that is going to take a week or longer.

So wb fill when you restart the server without the force will process chunks without loading them if it thinks that they have already been generated.

and then you restart the server
it goes back down to 0%
and you loose that time that it took to generate.
When you are running a generation that takes weeks
that becomes a problem.

Apparently it'll always try to respawn you at the foot of your bed, but if that area is blocked off it'll try the sides/top randomly.
nvm about the above... It seems to just try to randomly respawn you in any location beside the bed. However if the sides are blocked off it'll spawn you on the top.
