If you Disable/Uninstall HP,
Open game and apply the skin on the Main Menu, and create the save and apply it in the save, and then save and quit,
Then re-enable HP, that skin should still work
There's a chance it still won't, but you can usually get around the skin restriction like that

The first version of the mod (and current version) intentionally didn't change anything so that it could be used for normal speedrunning if desired. Potentially a future version may add/adjust things about it, but it's not actively being worked on.

the extended cloak is carried over from THK, who has it where its second arm should be

it's meant to be indicative of THK's weakness, it's state as barely alive, but barely dead. It's animated by a force seperate from itself. It's like a Zombie.
It doesn't make any sense for PV, PV is at its prime, its roar should be powerful threatening, not leaning back and letting out a cry of anguish, of pain, of ages sealed both from the vessel and the Light within.

I mean, at the most extreme there is Infinite HP or Invulnerability with debug mod, or just buffing the nail damage to one-hit enemies. I dont' know that I'd recommend either of those too strongly, as I think it would dilute the satisfaction of actually improving at the game, but they are options

i only just started hunting for more but the one in Crystal peaks mentioning it's behind a breakable wall on the way to hallownest's crown has stumped me, i have no idea where disinfectants flask would be along with chaos orb since i don't mess with deepest longer than i need to, and blue moth wings are a few im going for specifically

The breakable Wall on the way to crown is above the 2nd laser dude, below the last crystal hunter. You should be able to see the cracks. Disinfectant Flask & Chaos orb are not in Deepnest, they're in Kingdom's Edge - both in the same room actually, the one with the pool of acid at the bottom. Bluemoth at at a hidden lore tablet 2 rooms left of the Waterfall bench, at the very upper right of that room.
If you need more guidance I can maybe grab some screenshots shortly

Actually, I do have to correct myself - they're not quite in the same room, but the entrance to the Lifeblood room (which is just a small nook) is in the same room as the Chaos Orb.

that one, however, has its own friction: 1 require to turn on some other setting (i forget the name, some auto scan stuff) and doesn't turn that option off when i turn the hp off and 2 it's on boss' head so it's quite distracting.
the first friction is the one mainly preventing me from using that to spot check - i don't know what the auto scan does, but assuming it has some overhead on the game's perf, i don't want to leave something behind that makes my game even slower.

Hey does anyone know why certain animations in hollowknight are being skipped? Like when I ring the bell for the stag, it skips the animation when the stag runs in. And whenever I dreamnail a dreamer, it skips the WHOLE thing of beating up the dreamer and getting the dreamer mask. Stuff like that.

I think I made a grave mistake when setting up this randomizer
I had transcendence installed cause I'm messing with mods for the first time and I wanted to play with the new charms
so when I went to give the game a range for the max notch cost it could randomize into I took into account the new charms and their costs
It never occurred to me that the randomizer would only put in as many charms as there are in the base game
Maybe it does use the extra spawns but I feel like one was missing for sure

I love how I installed the customknight mod and my entire game completely stopped working. Each time I try to fix it, it fixes the old problem but creates a new one. At first my animations were bugged and my nail didn't work, now when I free grubs they don't leave and picking up an item completely removes my ability to do anything and it doesn't even show me what the item is. I'm now uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see if that helps
also I already took off the customknight mod completely, uninstalled it and everything so that's not the problem still
