Amulet coin, absolutely. If I was more familiar with battle items, I would probably have recognized the X items too. HP up makes sense (I'm assuming that's what fragile heart is).

-go into the main menu
-go to mods,custom knight then dump sprites
-check the dump folder for menu_title
-go in menu_styles
-go in vheart
-edit the voidheart bg
-create the file directory for your skin in the swap folder and paste the image in
-use the skin to test
You might need to keep the editing window open so that you can adjust and then reloading the skin for the wanted result

It works by just simply overlaying the images, and then hiding a % of one based on the missing health of the entity. Because of this, you can use literally any size images you want, so you have a lot of control over the final product.

i have a modding idea, but i'm not sure how feasible it is, or if there's anything similar already, so i'll just explain it below.

the idea is called multiplayer split control. basically, two or more players control the same knight, but have different keybinds they can use (one player might get up arrow, right arrow, attack, and dash, while the other gets down arrow, left arrow, jump, and focus). The buttons are either randomized, or selected for each player, either individually or in sets.
the sets could be as follows: directional controls, nail controls (attack and dream nail), spell controls (focus and quick cast), mobility controls (jump, dash, and super dash), and menu controls (inventory, quick map, and menu)
in practice, it would mean these players would have to coordinate their efforts together to get the knight to progress.

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
🔹 First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
🔸 Click the three points then click "Manage".

Run Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

🔸 Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"
🔹 Look for a folder where you want to install the game (Preferably inside a folder in your desktop).

If you play Rando, please install this mod to help find an ongoing bug

Apparently there's a bug where you sometimes get warped to start, while in-game (and not paused), for no reason. I don't know what causes this bug (and neither does anyone else, it seems), and I can't reproduce it myself making figuring out the issue hard. If anyone gets this bug often, can you try installing this mod (make a new folder called BugHunt and put the attached files in there), and then send a modlog if you get the error? All this mod does is adds a bunch of logging that I thought might be useful, but I might be looking in the wrong place so I may well end up updating this depending on what happens.

(Also, make sure you have QoL installed which you probably should anyway if you're playing rando )

It was previously Charm Mod, and then accidentally added as " Fyrenest".
Because of how Scarab tracks things, you may need to manually delete the old folders for it (using Open Mods, then just deleting the Charm Mod folder)

🔹 Open your Custom Knight folder, and then go to this location: \Custom Knight\Swap\Global (If you don't have the Global folder, then create it).
Note: If you want it to be part of a specific skin, then add it to \Custom Knight\Skin\{SKINNAME}\Swap\Global instead.

The Scarab files should be in a folder that is somewhere on your computer other than your Downloads folder.
Typically people put it on their desktop, but really any non-restricted folder is fine.

The windows.zip that you downloaded you can delete.

You can't "run it through Scarab"

And generally speaking, you should close Scarab when you're done installing things, because if you try to change mods while the game is open, it'll potentially break stuff

Exactly, there are two swaps folder. On inside the knight skin, putting it there will only change dung defender skin if you are using that skin. The other is directly on the custom knight folder, whatever you put on there will appear no matter wich skin you have

To add Boss/Enemy Skins with Custom Knight

• Open your Custom Knight folder, and then go to this location: \Custom Knight\Swap\Global (If you don't have the Global folder, then create it).
  • Note: If you want it to be part of a specific skin, then add it to \Custom Knight\Skin\{SKINNAME}\Swap\Global instead.
• Rename the skin file to whatever the Hash name for that Enemy is. For example, a Primal Aspid would be named CFE628DC65E2314F7863030BA662E69CF4F9B604.png, then place it inside that folder.

Getting the Hash names

• A .zip containing all bosses from pantheon 5
• How to find them yourself
  • Enter the room with the thing you want to reskin
  • Pause the game and go into the Custom Knight menu
  • Select "Begin Dumping", and then leave the game paused until it says 100% in the top left corner.
  • Then check \Mods\Custom Knight\Dump\Global for the images that you dumped, and they will have the Hash name that you need.
• Notes
  • There is also a hashcache.json in the Custom Knight folder that has all of the Hashes, but you'll need to know the room name it's in, and it may be confusing to use for many people.
  • Not all things have a Global Swap. If you don't see the sprite that you want in the global folder at all, then you may need to check the room name folders for it. If it's in those only, then you'll need to recreate that same folder structure to put into the Swap folder.
