I need help to learn how to make mods. I have an idea for a mod from nearly a year ago now and I wanted to make it but didn't have the necessary equipment or knowledge to make the mod. But i now have the equipment required to start making mods. I simply just don't know where to start to learn how to make mods. And I think my idea might be a bit to big to just learn a few simple things and instantly be able to make. I have very little coding capabilities.

I'm trying to mod HK but I dont know if there is anything like what Im looking for:
-EnemyRandomizer that can spawn a boss in place of a random enemy but does not change original bosses.
-Baked enemy randomizer. (Enemies don't change if I change rooms) So if a boss spawns room 1, you fight or run, but cant change its spawn.

Atm I installed enemyrandomizer but it just swaps enemy types. Idk if there is something like what I'm looking for, or how to install it.

If you do it good youll land hits and avoid at the same time

I love the random pantheons (p5) + hollow point combo, random teleport and randomizer are also very fun, if you are really decided to do something hard, a decoration master map or a god soul run arent bad

Hi all, I've just bought HK on PC to play with mods mainly bosses). I've always played on the most recent patch on Xbox and now I see that depending on the patch, I can either use ModInstaller or Scarab. Should I just go with the latest patch and Scarab? Thanks!

hey everyone, im out of date in terms of modding, i stopped using mods to run hitless around when 1.5 was just coming out and it seems like since a lot of progress has been made since

i had a modpack put together by a few people in here that was made for 1.4. when i was just stopping to use mods, people were saying you couldnt use 1.4 mods in the 1.5 installer. is that still true?

if its still true, would it be possible to update the mod to 1.5? if so, i would be willing to pay money for this.

the modpack was what i called the "NG+ modpack" which boosted the amount of health enemies had and how much mask damage they did while increasing the amount of money enemies dropped, all depending on what the player set, and it also featured the healthbar mod built in to correspond with the increased health.

this was like October of last year so its a lot to catch up with, sorry if this is common info or something.

Yes you are unable to use 1.4 mods on the 1.5 installer (scarab) however almost every mod with the exception of enemy rando multiworld some modded bosses and some little random other mods are now on 1.5. I also don’t believe the ng+ are on 1.5 as of now. There is the option of having to patch’s installed at once. If you want a challenge sort of simmilar there is god soul on 1.5.

okay i was just asking to confirm. im pretty certain the NG+ mod isnt on 1.5 because it was a mod i had made by a few people in here. but as mentioned im willing to pay some pretty decent money to update (or redo) this mod into 1.5 if anyone is interested.

its been a very special modpack to me and im pretty undoubtedly certain it helped me get my hitless run.

so im willing to do anything to have it carried over into 1.5 so i can use in current patch.
