Depends on your definition?
For seeing other players: HKMP (on Scarab for 1.5; for 1432 you need to get the pre-1.0 version from GitHub)

Otherwise, there's also MultiWorld and ItemSync (both for 1432).
MultiWorld: Randomizer where your items can be in other people's game.
ItemSync: Randomizer where wherever anyone playing gets an item, all players get it.

It's just any valid, non-reserved, port that is being hosted on.

On 1.5 (using scarab) you can use More Saves to edit your save to put him back. You'll need to run through all of the different options and set various flags to true. There isn't a quick and easy way to do it.

Some people like boss mods, some people like customization mods, some people like meme mods, some people like difficulty changing mods that rework stuff to be harder. Alright, so I had a confusing thing happen to me recently, I have a slightly old laptop with an i3 7020U, Geforce MX150 and 8gb ram. When I played Hollow Knight v1.5 on 720p with low settings my laptop would reach internal temperatures of 60-65C but now after downpatching and modding(i did not play the vanilla v1.4), when I play on the same setting and in the same environment, it only reaches 50C max.

the Temple is split into 3 Areas (1 main area 2 Sub-Areas) the entire area is called the Temple of Arachna and the sub-areas are:
The Dungeon (Boss is the Heretic Leader) and the Altar Room (has 2 Boss Fights (these are: Scorpio 2 (AKA Scorpio Destroyer) and Arachna)

Update: Randomizer 4, Item Sync, and HKMP are all on current patch / Scarab now. Currently the only reason to follow these instructions is to play MultiWorld.

To play Multiplayer Randomizer:
🔹 Change to patch 1.4.3.2
Instructions on that here:

🔹 Use Mod Installer zotebroke or Mod Installer 2 omegamaggotprime to install RandomizerMod3.0 (which should auto-install the other mods you need: Benchwarp, QoL, ModCommon, Serecore, and Vasi). You may also want MapModS if you want maps of what you can get to.
Note: ModInstallers can be found in #archived-modding-help pins, or by using ?i in chat

🔹 Decide what kind of Multiplayer Randomizer you want to do:
Pick ONLY ONE, you cannot use both.

MultiWorld (You both are playing "separately", but items are shuffled between your two worlds. In this mode, you could find your friend's Mantis Claw, for example)

Take the mods from the zipped folder, and put it into your Mods directory.
Note: Those .zips come with a copy of randomizermod3.0. Don't use that one, it's slightly older. The one on Mod Installer is the most up-to-date right now.

🔹 When you're setting up the run, it'll ask for a URL. Use 18.189.16.129 for that. Then you both join the same room name (keep the name lowercase).

🔸 You can additionally use HKMP (Hollow Knight Multiplayer) if you want to see each other / interact with each other while playing.

Hollow Point is really fun to me. It's actually surprisingly well balanced and isn't an instant i win button 95% of the time (though radiance does not enjoy 7.62mm) and the changes to spell casting are sometimes frustrating but ultimately really fun 90% of the time.

if you use a mod on a pre existing file it can sometimes screw with some of the settings and make stuff like ur focus take longer or stuff, as long as you dont use the mod on a save that you wanna keep safe, it will be fine. IDK about achievements though

\ the problem is that map is definitely not closely proportional enough to actually put pins and stuff on for in-game use, and to custom-draw a map that would be detailed enough for that purpose would be a huge endeavor because of the size of the game world

under the hood is the bug knight's head just that shape or is the little point at the top a fabric tenting effect? bc a little bit of wiggle or bend to the hood in some place where it's not tight against the exoskeleton would help break up the static-ness of the top half of the sprite
