I have been recently been playing HK again, taken a small break from SS so I can remember true suffering, trying to complete AbsRad on Radiant Diff. qnq

But because I have been streaming it I always want to end off the streams on a calm note and that note is path of pain which mean Path of Pain is never truly painful, atleast its not anymore.
Sooooo, to bring that pain back into the path of pain I thought imagine if there was a mod that forced you to complete PoP after every transition.

Big question I have now though, is the Pantheon boss fights a transition?
Like after every boss fight would you have to complete Path of Pain?

Something that would make it worse is if you were to make the soul statues limited. XDD
And have the player play on Steel Soul. qnq

Going from tutorial 01 -> town you roll lets say r3
So then when youve already gone that couple of transitions(tutorial 01->town) the mod remembers that and you no longer have to do pop if you go the same way.But
If you then go town->tutorial 01,youre forced to do the same r3 you rolled in this couple(e.g same gimmicks),but backwards.
There could be so many settings too with,individual gimmicks,full or a room dependant pop,not use memory and force pop every time...
Could also be used in a rando..and even in room rando,tho idk if it would need extra implimentation

That is such an interesting set of ideas that I didnt entirely think of tbh.

As Roma said, its a single player game.
I would recommend playing the game without it as much as you can because it gets you trying to learn timing and interacting with the boss outside of the game to a degree.
However I say this and yet I use the Boss Health Bar mod when doing most of Godhome.
It definitely helps to have. ^u^

Also I don't think I have heard of NoWalkOfShame mod, is that where when you die it warps you outside the boss arena?
Sounds really nice to have but I wouldn't use it.
I guess it really depends how you feel about it and if you think that it will help you enjoy the game more or not. ^u^

I actually was recently looking into a reddit post on runbacks that people disliked or felt was the worst in all fields and was an interesting read honestly.
Runbacks like [Spoilers:] ||Hive Knight|| is pretty annoying even with shortcuts.

To the Health Bar mod, I believe the boss that pushed me into downloading that mod was GPZ.
Absolute 4$$hole that boss and trying make his statue gold was painful.
He was a boss that I could never tell if I was close to beating or not. qnq

Common issues

• If the Skin List is covering up other mods, you can toggle it with Del or Fn+Del. You can edit this Keybind in the Custom Knight menu.
• If your skin doesn’t show up in the menu, ensure that you extracted it from the zip/rar/etc it came in (tutorial: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1207486627124093019/1403869873192571024/i.png).
• If your skin doesn’t work, go to Options > Mods > Custom Knight > Advanced > Fix My Skins. After this you may need to click Reload in the previous menu.

It's not developed by anyone that is an active member of the community, and the few times that the person who created it interacted with the community, they got defensive, accepted bizarrely, and then vanished.

From what I heard my people that looked at it, it didn't seem to be actively malicious-- but the point of it isn't really understood at this time. There isn't a central mod repository for Silksong mods at this time, so there's nowhere for it to actually get Silksong mods from.

What do save files looks like?

• Each Hollow Knight save file is a user#.dat where # is the save slot for the file

Modded Saves

• A modded save may also have a user#.modded.json (and similarly named backup). This file and the user#.dat are part of the save

How it works

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world.

the way to get silksong mod rn is through the usual modding websites like nexus or thunderstore, but those are the wild west, no one really checked if mods there work, if they are compatible with each other...
