itemsync lets you sync the items, using rando seeds and making sure the hash is correct will sync the map randomized but theres nothing for enemies

🔹 How it works:

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world. Enemies have separate health and can be in different places; items/abilities must be collected separately; breakable objects must be broken separately.
A player's attack will happen in each player's world, damaging any enemies/players it comes in contact with. A player is only hurt by the enemies in their own world.

For general use (PVP enabled)

For exclusively co-op (PVP disabled)

Make sure that you apply skins from the Pause Menu (Options > Mods > Custom Knight), when you have your save file loaded.
If you have White Boxes ◻️, restart your game. You may also need to try applying the skin in a small/empty room, like a stag station.

After installing, in order to actually use the mod
When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

I installed all the mods I wanted from scarab and it crashed upon me clicking to launch the game, I tried disabling some mods and only having core mods, it still crashed and didn't open, I'm listening to the guide for recommended mods and tried those only enabled and it didn't work, my hollowknight didn't come from steam so is that the issue or is it something else?

You can use debug to change the level of grimmchild, one of them is carefree (level 5 iirc but I can be wrong, you can test that yourself) or you can use Carefree Grimm, which is a mod that allows you to use both charms

According to the readme it should be compatible with base rando but there has been many instances of that mod not working with others. For rando integrations, you can search "rando" on scarab to find a good amount of them, I know transcendance and skill upgrades are also rando integrations, idk if there's a complete list somewhere

And although I haven't tested that I believe that charm crab cannot be used in randos if you have others integrations like skill upgrades and transcendance enabled

Scarab has no list/appears blank/Failed to fetch modlinks

🔹 Folder: Make sure your folder is extracted, and on your desktop/subfolder inside your desktop and that there are the 4 files inside that came in the zipped folder.

🔹 Restart: Try rebooting your whole pc and try again opening Scarab.

🔹 Permissions: Ensure your antivirus software, windows defender, firewall, or equivalent are not blocking the scarab program from running.

🔹 VPN: If your scarab files are in order, restarting made no change and the issue persists use a VPN, If you don't already have one, https://1.1.1.1/ is a trusted free VPN.

🔹 Reset Installer: If using a VPN didn't work try resetting Scarab by doing the following:

🔸 Windows
Go to
%APPDATA%
and delete
HKInstallerSettings.json
Then run the installer again.

🔸 Windows Automated
This will automatically delete HKInstallerSettings.json

How to fix Installer Errors
🔹 Make sure Hollow Knight is CLOSED.
🔹 Make sure that all 4 installer files have been Extracted from the .zip and that the new folder isn't in your Downloads folder. (Extract the 4 files to your desktop)

Whenever I go fight the false knight, I get a blue screen with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

I've done so many things to fix this, such as reinstalling windows, downloading the game in a different disk, running RAM/GPU tests, a lot of CMD stuff, but nothing works! This is the only game that gives me the error.

Does anyone have a save file JUST past the bossfight, so I can use it? Or any fixes for this error?

When I verify the files in cmd (scannow), it always finds corrupted files and fixes them, but it still blue screens.
As for game files, verying them (I bought in GOG), doesn't fix it either.

Scarab is made for patch 1.5.78+
Modinstaller 1 & 2 are made for version 1.4.3.2
there aren't installers for other patches.

I seem to recall there's a mod that lists it as a dependency but it's only because the readme wasn't updated for the port? But I don't know if that was lightbringer or something else whatifShrug

lamb skin is the least likely to get made.
Currently working on Chibiterasu, then white lady is likely after. Then if I'm not burned out from skin making, Stitch, Toothless, or pajama party knight. Maybe baby wyrm one day too, I dunno, but I also already made a baby wyrm grub skin.

After installing, in order to actually use the mod
When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

Make sure you have the correct game version for your mods.

Note: if you don't know how to manually install mods that aren't on the installer, type ?tag install into chat.

After installing, in order to actually use the mod
When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

one thing i learned recently from having someone test this on a fresh install is all the modules were disabled by default. so make sure you go to the mod's options menu and enable all the modules (except zote mode, unless you want to mess with that)
