I tried to mod with steam deck. The mods installed and were working and everything but the controller was disabled

Mods/Controller not working correctly on Steam Deck
Issue: Steam Deck installs the Windows version of HK, then runs it in proton. This would be fine except that you install Linux Scarab, which replaces the Assembly-Csharp with the Linux version, and then it doesn't like to work correctly on "Windows" anymore

Solution: Go to the HK Library page, select Properties -> Compatibility, check "Force the use of a specific steam play compatibility tool", and select "Steam Linux Runtime" (Note: not the sniper or soldier versions)

This will reinstall the Linux version of the game, and move some files around, so you'll need to select "Change Paths" in Scarab and change it to the new install path, then reinstall your mods. After this, everything should be working.

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
🔹 First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
🔹 Click the three points then click "Manage".
🔹 Go to the "Files" tab and select "Browse...".
🔹 Click Hollow Knight then Content, click the path bar and copy it.
🔸Run Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

Alternate Method:
🔹 Click on your profile then "Settings"
🔹 Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"
🔹 Look for a folder where you want to install the game (Preferably inside a folder in your desktop).
🔸 Copy the path bar, then run Scarab as Administrator and when it asks you for the path, paste what copied before.

Scarab path folder needs to have Hollow Knight_Data folder inside

To add Boss/Enemy Skins with Custom Knight

🔹 Open your Custom Knight folder, and then go to this location: \Custom Knight\Swap\Global (If you don't have the Global folder, then create it).
Note: If you want it to be part of a specific skin, then add it to \Custom Knight\Skin\{SKINNAME}\Swap\Global instead.

🔹 Rename the skin file to whatever the Hash name for that Enemy is. For example, a Primal Aspid would be named CFE628DC65E2314F7863030BA662E69CF4F9B604.png, then place it inside that folder.

Getting the Hash names
Enter the room with the thing you want to reskin, then pause the game and go into the Custom Knight menu. Select "Begin Dumping", and then leave the game paused until it says 100% in the top left corner.
Then you can check \Custom Knight\Dump\Global for the images that you dumped, and they will have the Hash name that you need.

I just downloaded a fuckton of skins I'm probably not using

i downloaded a mod which lets me use charm presets, the problem is that void heart did not apply for all of them, so i enabled debug mod to see if i could maybe find some way of putting it on, i clicked on "all charms" because i thought maybe it would show a list of all charm, but now i have all charms and notches(alredy removed one notch) and also fragile strenght/greed/heart turned into unbreakable

is there any way i can remove specific charms from me?

i tried going in the save folder but i dont understand exactly if this is actually my save
