At least one transition has three leading into it, but only one out, and the area is self contained at the moment you arrive there, so you can only quit out to leave to your last bench

Additional note: Charm Crab is apparently a "game overhaul" mod, that modifies a lot of things in the game (I know it modifies charms, but I think it tweaks a few other things as well). It's meant to give a new experience to a fresh playthrough, but it notably conflicts with most mods other than plain Rando.

I don't know that map pins work normally in rando. Are you saying you have not in fact collected all of your checks? (If that's the case, you likely have an out of date dependency that's impacting map mod's functionality)

  • Make sure that you apply skins from the Pause Menu (Options > Mods > Custom Knight), when you have your save file loaded.
  • If you have White Boxes โ—ป๏ธ, restart your game. You may also need to try applying the skin in a small/empty room, like a stag station.

How to use Scarab in Microsoft Store
๐Ÿ”น First enter the Xbox app and move your mouse over Hollow Knight on the left bar.
๐Ÿ”น Click the three points then click "Manage".
๐Ÿ”น Go to the "Files" tab and select "Browse...".
๐Ÿ”น Click Hollow Knight then Content, click the path bar and copy it.
๐Ÿ”ธRun Scarab as admin and when it asks you for the path paste what copied before.

Alternate Method:

๐Ÿ”น Go to "General" tab and select "CHANGE FOLDER"

After installing, in order to actually use the mod
When the mod is correctly installed, you should see it at the top-left of your main menu, with the other mods you have installed.

If there is also some larger text that says "Load Enemy Randomizer", then press that button to randomize the enemies using the default settings (Note: you will need to wait a few minutes while this loads). If the button is not there, then go into Options > Mods, and Disable the mod, and then re-enable it. You will also need to close the game entirely, and re-open it.

world sense and focus tablet should work with current CK build. I did most of my testing on that build, and didn't switch over to the dev build until recording the showcase. The only thing that should require the dev version is inventory swap.

I tried repeatedly to get customimage to work for stuff and couldn't. I couldn't figure out what I had to name things. Tried multiple things and failed every time. The only thing I could get to work was the nail and that was only because it was used as an example in the Readme.

I probably wouldn't have included the inventory in a customimage folder regardless because CK will have inventory eventually and I would rather have it set up for CK to do it, but if I could get it to replace the prompts and journal then I would have included a note about needing ci for the best experience.

That's what I mean, I couldn't figure out the gameobjectnames I needed. Tried a few different ones for lantern and wings, and many many different names for the radiance journal entry and various prompts. I also didn't want to pester ygsbzr out of the blue or for every time I found something else I wanted to replace and couldn't figured out what to name it, which was why I never pinged them. I debated on making a post in dev support but didn't think it counted as a dev support problem.

Another issue I had with ci was when I had it set to change the nail, when I switched skins off of radiance, it didn't return to default.

But I guess it wouldn't hurt to include inventory and a warning about that if I do add a customimage folder to the skin later. Assuming I ever figure out the naming stuff.

You can edit various values of save files. Below are different available methods.

Rando is a dependecny so it must be started thru rando, but you don't have to randomize anything, you'd need to enable vanilla sync.
