You need to have proper reactions for each attack, luckily each one is telegraphed well. You dash through the lunge and three swipes just when he’s about to strike and dash through the soul daggers right after the sound of throwing them (if you do it too early you’ll get hit). When he strikes from above and raises the soul pillars you dash away once and try not to move, you’ll usually land between the pillars. You also dash away ASAP when he does the energy ball attack and jump+double jump at the void tentacle attack. That’s the whole philosophy.
