Post canon nightmare hurt/comfort headcanons

• All of them get nightmares post canon. There’s plenty of things to have nightmares about. Hornet denies it or hand waves it as normal but she’s not immune to trauma
• The Knight exploits the dream nail to literally fight off their siblings’ nightmares. Failing that they use their small size to bap their larger siblings like a cat
• (doing the latter to Hornet is not recommended, she will throw hands upon being disturbed, gentle comfort is the more recommended approach)
• The knight always requests snuggles after a nightmare, they like being squeezed by their larger siblings. Hollow does not request it but does not say no if asked. Hornet will fight you on needing comfort but can be convinced
• Sometimes the hollow knight breaks things with their huge horns by accident
• The hollow knight has nightmares about ||the Radiance|| a lot. Frequently needs to be reassured that she is gone for good
• Hornet grumbles and acts grumpy while taking care of her siblings and speaking softly, older sibling energy
• Grimmchild feeds on nightmares but does not cause them (unless they’re mad at you), they sleep curled up on or next to the others like a cat
