For what we understand from the healing mechanic is that after a certain threshold of silk in the hud the "circle" shining means you can perform a heal.

I disagree for one simple reason

hornet herself flashes white when you have enough silk to bind

even if you never even look at the HUD, you will be reminded of when you pass 9 notches (6 with harp crest)

in the heat of combat, that threshold is the only thing that matters, and outside combat you can look in the upper corner and immediately tell how many notches you have
