i, as a person with no experience in the PR field, shall tell this guy in the PR field how he is failing his job

It's kind of special, your character is "slow" in everything (combat, rolls, parries etc..) so timing is very important. You can't jump, rolls and parry are the main way to avoid stuff, if you press attack repeatedly you can do combo (although you're exposed to take a damage then cancel it)
So everything including bosses and enemies have "heavy" actions compared to other games of this genre, but if you're timing is good you can chain those with ease. It's an unforgiving experience, insta death traps and pits, and sometimes you rather want to stealth through rooms than fighting mobs (even more in late game areas)

Exploration is very important, you can find runes that upgrade your character (sometimes with a condition like Fury of the Fallen) so pretty much like charms, you can also play with different weapons and switch them for specific situations. And opening inventory still runs the game in the background so be careful of what's happening
