The "Quests" in Silksong will just be a way of tracking shit that NPCs want you to do for them, in the same way as Ze'Mer's flower quest. The quest boards we've seen have been said to be the way of tracking them, and I'm certain that the quests won't even appear on the boards until you talk to the NPC in question, and even if they do there won't be any markers or other RPG bullshit, only vague information by which you have to find or figure it out yourself. MOREOVER, it certainly won't be shit like "kill 10 boars", in fact I'm certain that you will be able to do most quests without ever knowing they were a quest or looking at the notice board. There won't be any filler fetch quests or boring escort or other bullshit from open world rpgs.

In SS, you can do quests passively or you can actively seek to finish them. Quest boards are used to check up on them, but you can "star" 2-3 to go on a dropdown list in your map. These are just used to help you remember specific quests.

Also Mossbag theorised that the "Wayfarer" quests are escort quests, with which i completely disagree. The EDGE article writer wrote that they seem to require you to find a hidden location, and that's exactly what I think they'll be about.

With how long you've been waiting for Silksong, combined with the radio silence from the devs are you going to be more critical and discerning in regards to your first playthrough of Silksong? I know I will, not out of spite or anything its just that with how long the wait is and how frustrating this whole experience is with the silence and pattern of getting my hopes for news only to be disappointed.
