You see, the game isn't "bad" per se, it's a hollow knight game after all, it just doesn't live up to the hype, which granted is too much to ask for, but even then the game has a lot of flaws that very clearly don't follow the "if it's not broken, don't fix it" principle, there are way too many useless mechanics and too many wasted ones, the world is also a big flaw, as where before the progression was butter smooth, here there is a lot of required, tedious backtrack in order to get to new areas, and its not like the old ones progressively change go make it at least interesting, it's just lame and honestly not very good design

The tools while cool on paper, are extremely unbalanced, there are like 3 or 4 that are "the meta" so to speak, and the rest are either too gimmicky, uninteresting or outclassed by the meta tools

And the enemies my God, you ever play a game and just roll your eyes whenever you see a pack of strong enemies just smashed together in a zone with no thought put into it? Half of your encounters are like this and it does not get better

Heh I don't really care about forgetting the shows as much as games for some reasons, because rewatching them often makes you watch with a different point of view and you can catch even more details the more you re-watch

Sometimes it feels like it highlights flaws in the bosses, playing in radiant. Specially when a boss that was easy outside of radiant is harder in radiant than bosses like PV or NKG in radiant.
