Hallownest was desgined for the Knight/Ghost moveset/gameplay in mind while Pharloom is being done with Hornet's in mind. We could see Hallownest in SS but in flashbacks exploring Hornet's past.

I think as fans we are owed a little feedback from the team on how development is going. This current cycle of annual messages isn't healthy to the long term of the community. It builds a culture of hype and disappointment and damages how fans are perceived by others. It's perfectly reasonable to accept some word from Team Cherry and the fact that we aren't getting anything reflects negatively on them more than anything. I love Team Cherry and want what's best for them, but this is a dangerous cycle which can lead to genuine anger in a community.
