The pain of waiting for games usually goes from excitement to impatience, where some fans would think they are entitiled to get news/a release date, so much so that it becomes toxic. Then, comes Apathy, where your interests are slowly drifging away from waiting and is more focused on other stuff. The game will come out but you don't care about it that much anymore. You may even buy months or years later.

So in my case, I just find that sweet spot where I don't feel entitled to deserve news, but I'm still excited nonetheless about it.

Grand Hunts will be finding and defeating a boss
Gather is simple, you have to find the required items scattered across the world, and give them to an NPC
Wayfarer is somewhat vague, but I think it requires you to find a hidden location (and maybe get an item from there)

As we saw from the quest boards, assuming they won't change, the Quests don't have any information besides [Who is the quest giver, and where] and [what's the task].

Maybe grand hunts will be more rarer than normal hunts. It'll be a sort of side boss that's not necessary to fight, but wil give an extra reward by defeating it.

not really, minibosses are what the name implies, they're slightly below boss-level enemies. I don't think you could call, for example, Husk Sentries minibosses, but they are bigger enemies

What if, here me out. in the word "grand hunt", it dosnt really imply going somewhere specific and killing some big bug, but rather a "hunt". we have to ACTUALLY hunt, something, in that picture maybe they caught up, caught up in this wierd non arena or boss looking area to fight him. its a "hunt" after all

For Wayfarer, I'm sure its either helping out a traveller or escorting an NPC. Wayfarer means "traveller, especially on foot" in the English Dictionary so I'm sure it's something like that. Now I get Arch's POV that Wayfarer could mean going to a certain area in the map (you may or may not find an item) but from my POV it doesn't make sense. Why are you travelling to this area? Who posted the Quest where it just says "Go here Hornet" what does that do? I do believe it's helping out travellers who need help getting passed some enemies to a new area or even escorting an NPC over some dangerous places to a new place.

For Grand Hunt, I don't know if bosses would work for it. Now it does depend on the kind of bosses, it could be like Nosk where they're a pest and need to destroyed or it could be where Hornet is told to beat the shit out a reigning queen of ant hill It would make sense for the Grand Hunt quests to focus on bosses like Nosk but how many are there going to be? I believe it will be a special enemy (so yes it could be seen as a mini-boss) where it could be available after picking this quest and you go and defeat this enemy which is much more complex compared to the other enemies in that area.

So yeah those are my thoughts on the quests we're not completely sure on- enjoy

The random does sound more plausible. Like if you check the board once in a while, a grand hunt would appear and after completing it you'll have to wait for it to appear again. Maybe there'll be 5 or 10 Grandhunts, so new bosses.

that maybe true or this could be changed in the near future but this just pure speculation on my part because we don`t know if he will be part of the "hunt" quest because it can be changed for it on release but due to silksong news being very little and somewhat vague without knowledge for where is trobbio could be a boss but this is just my way of speculation but we saw him in that one snipbit in the trailer so we can believe that he is a "boss" but the thoughts of him being a quest boss is highly unlikely.

"Go here Hornet" is literally the most surface level interpretation of what I described. You could come up with a myriad of reasons to go find a specific place, and I don't mean just a general area, I mean a specific room. For example an NPC could ask you to deliver a message, or go find something they've lost, or explore a place that's too dangerous for them, the possibilities are endless.

About Grand Hunts, I think it doesn't really need to be any particular kind of boss. We know that one normal Hunt quest is already about defeating "singing pilgrims" so it doesn't have to be literal animals to be hunted. It's just any kind of combat. You could for example have a bandit lord to be defeated, or pretty much any other big threat.

It's just Who gave the Quest and Where they are (just the name of the place/town, not exact location) and what needs to be done.

Anyway I vehemently believe quests will not have any randomness to them and will be unlike Quests in other games, the "Quests" are just rewards for exploration and doing stuff that's already in the world, and the Quests on the Boards themselves are just hints/pointers towards where to find them
