they sometimes reveal games but usually ones that weren't known about before.
there's tons of announcements but usually it's DLC or expansions for existing games/content.
I don't remember a game being announced there that already was revealed some time before but I may be wrong about that

we think TGA because the next big event option is E3 but that is far-ish into the future

while a big event appearance would help I think TC can pull off a perfectly fine launch without

like: we know TC can book spots at those big events (geoff asked for them to rpesent at summer game's fest). TC's following is already gonna buy SS, they don't need to be sold on it. To increase SS's audience, people who don't already follow the game need to see it. those audiences are at the big events
