I got a theory that the main bad guy of Silksong is a Silkmoth or something.
When enemies get hit they give off Feathers instead of void/soul or infection. When they die they “explode” with silk and something similar to Dust (kinda like when infected enemies Scream). In the Radiance arena there are feathers and dust.

One thing I've noticed about ss is that the colour palettes are generally warmer, even areas like the coral forest have many reds, oranges and yellows
