He simply just disappears/runs away after the five White Defender battles. And unlike a lot of characters, he is capable of leaving the kingdom if he wanted since he is a naturally intelligent bug. A theory of mine is that the battles we have not seen or heard of (Battle of Blackwyrm, Knotted Grove) took place OUTSIDE Hallownest, where the Five Great Knights probably fought to defend Hallownest. After all, they had to protect the kingdom from outside dangers, right? That last bit is my own theory. Besides, he could truly fight if he wanted to, not like he’d die to some random enemy in the outskirts of the kingdom during his quest to seek something new in his life.

Another thing, TC promised us more Five Great Knights lore, which we never got. Ogrim meeting and talking with Hornet is the perfect way as a surprise encounter (or, a weaver who used to be in Hallownest could give us some instead)
