So I went to bilewater. I can see why it has a reputation. Even with the maggot repelling artifact, the second bench, double jump and clawline it was a slog. I think the platforming bit with the exploding balls would have been a lot better if they counted as enemies. So you can clawline off of them repeatedly.
There's also an odd lack of shortcuts? Usually when there's a long platforming section there's a way to unlock a shortcut so you don't have to do it again which seems ill-thought out.
