the tools seem really good on this specific boss otherwise it would be less of an issue. sinner teleports around the map a lot which makes getting hits in quite hard. so yeah this is giga clunky and the game should either put you on your bench or keep you where you are but refill resources (if you have enough currency)

wow i didn't mean to summon you here! i don't know if it would qualify as being a bug, or just a design complaint, so please don't take it as me declaring it to be a bug.

upon dying to the boss First Sinner, the game respawns you outside of the boss cocoon-building, instead of respawning you on a bench. its treated like a save point so saving and quitting puts you right back in that spot rather than a bench. the issue is, the tools aren't refilled with shell shards, since you're not at a bench, so if i die, i have to walk to the bench and then back to the boss to refill my tools. this is the only time in the game thus far that i've been respawned not on a bench after dying to a boss, so it was sorta jarring. It feels incongruent with the rest of the game
