Hey,

so I got a problem with modded, I want to start speedrunning and to practice it a bit easier I want to have "DebugMod". So I went to Youtube and saw fireb0rn's Video. From a Link of the Discription I downloaded the latest/newest version of Scarab, then I created a folder in hollow_knight_Data (steamlibrary > steamapps > common > Hollow Knight > hollow_knight_Data) named "Scarab" I put the files from the windows.zip which I downloaded from the website of Scarab in the "Scarab" folder. Next I opened Scarab downloaded DebugMod and turned it on, then I tried to open Hollow Knight but it didn't worked. Any Ideas what I can do? Oh and i play on 1.2.2.1 if it matters

Is there any way to use mods on GFN? I assume not, seeing as you cannot download files. The only reason I ask, is because I was wondering if maybe it would work to upload a modded backup into the save file folder, so steam will maybe upload it to the cloud, then you could restore that modded backup on the GFN session. I dunno if it would work, but I was thinking I'd ask.

127.0.0.1 is local host, it means it's your server so you don't need to put your own ip in.

HKMP is a mod available for current-patch and 1432.

How it works:

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world. Enemies have separate health and can be in different places; items/abilities must be collected separately; breakable objects must be broken separately.
A player's attack will happen in each player's world, damaging any enemies/players it comes in contact with. A player is only hurt by the enemies in their own world.

Since a lot of people seem confused at what I'm trying to do I will clarify. I already have scarab. I am trying to download a mod called "Hollow Point" which modifies the game to give the hollow knight a gun.

I do not know how to download external mods to use. I am assuming that other mods use scarab as a platform to function, I do not know if this is true.

The issue is that the mod I want isn't already in Scarab. I'm trying to add a mod to the scarab install list (I think, I may be wrong on this)
