Alright, so I've looked into the crash logs for my random crashes (I only have Randomizer 4 and its dependencies installed, using Scarab on Steam latest version). The error.log says: Read from location 0000000000000000 caused an access violation. Any idea on what could've caused this? Searching for that error code on the server didn't yield anything. I've already tried rebooting, and I even verified game files and got a fresh mod install going, but it still happens. The crash here happened on the Grimm fight, while he did his spike attack, but it's happened during any number of other instances, such as while menuing, while using benchwarp, or in any of the areas. Using Intel i7 CPU, 16 GB RAM, Intel Iris Xe GPU on a Laptop.

I've seen a common issue for MacOS where opening scarab causes it to immediately close, with a proposed solution. What if it happens on windows? we tried deleting the .json file and trying again, but it didn't work

the path never gets established but we've tried multiple times and multiple ways. they have a C: drive and a D: drive to get to the hollow knight pathway. we've also deleted the Hollowinstaller.json file each time we need to retry

Hi, so when I enter the game it shows Randomizer 4 as "failed to initalize". Then I follow the route which has worked all the time, I close HK, open Scarab, uninstall the "failed to initalize" mod (currently Randomizer 4), then go to %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\ , delete the mods global files, then reinstall the mod and launch the game. It has always worked for me till this day. It doesn't work on Randomizer 4. What should I do?
