Question. I'm facing Ultimatum Radiance, and it's the third modded boss I've faced, but I noticed for the first time a problem in the gameplay. I often hit with the nail and the attack rate gets super high, however without taking souls and I believe also without dealing damage. It seems that the hollow knight doubles the rate of the nail, I do not know how to explain it better without being able to put a clip. is it normal that it does this? is there any way to avoid it?

fucking hell. I made the skin in remixer, downloaded it correctly (when you told me), did all the fixes, got rid of the global settings, the file path is 100% correct, I have Satchel, I did everything in the pinned message, I have everything enabled, the correct skin is selected (in both ways, on the slider and in the Skin List), I have clicked Fix/Reload 50 times and nothing is happening. all in the save. I don't understand what i'm doing wrong

the ONLY thing I can think of that might still be fucking with it is this extra file Swap that I don't know entirely what it does, but if I had to guess is the file that swaps the skins to the custom one, all it has is a "replace.txt" file with nothing in it when I click on it

I am loving Hollow Knight but this is my first "platformer" and I have been struggling with the twitchy aspects of the game (eg boss fights and pogoing take me waaaay too much time over and over). So I installed Easymod and Debug mod via scarab. However, I installed easymod while I had a corpse. I went to retrieve my corpse but it wasn't there. Suspecting that it was an issue with the "leave no shade" option I uninstalled Easymod and still no corpse and I have a broken flask. I re-installed it and now it does not show my shade on the map but still broken flask.

Suggestions?

if you kill yourself it should spawn a new shade

if you had geo when you died you can use debug mod or save editing to cheat it back

good luck with the game, the first boss took me over 20 tries the first time round but now I can no hit the hardest boss in the game, it's definitely got a big difficulty curve

yeah. I went at it with that thought knowing that the curve was even steeper for me. But 36 hours in and it seems a long way to go I finally got frustrated. Slowing the game down just a touch during boss fights has really helped me it much more enjoyable.

you could try doing a second playthrough after beating it and doing some of the side stuff, might be able to beat it with no mods the second time around

Hk voidheart edition was for free on xbox recently. A friend of mine downloaded it and we wanted to play with hkmp. So I downloaded some customknight models and unzipped the folders and put them into the correct folder for the scarab modloader, and the skins show up in the skin selector, but when I click apply and close out of the pause menu, the white flash around the character happens, but the model doesn't change.
