Hey I've read the pins and I'm sure the answer is there but I'm not finding it, could someone point me in the right direction?

Trying to get HKMP to work for the first time from the scarab installer

the host device has its IP address in, and the other device has the first devices' ip address. I'm not sure what port means. Both say connection successful

Not seeing each other on each others' screens though. The pins say to get the ip address from "hanabi"--what's that? I can't access it rn because our home network blocks vpn sites

Scarab is for latest patch

If a mod you want isn't on Scarab, it might be on 1.4.32, then you should switch to that patch and use mod installer 1/2

And you're not bothering people, that's what this channel is for, and good on you for checking the pins first

hi has anyone had trouble getting the timer to display in Random Teleport mod for 1.4.3.2? The mod is working because I binded spacebar to the tport key, and space tports me. I have teleportTrigger set to 0 and showTimer set to True

It wasn't really designed with the intent to only randomize Rooms.

You technically can do this-- just set it to "Room and Item" and then uncheck all of items from the Randomization pools.

As a warning, because of how it generates the world, creating the file has a high chance of just crashing the game, or taking multiple minutes to generate. At one point I did this, and got lucky enough to find a seed that worked after only about one minute of loading, and that was after about a dozen failed attempts with other seeds.

You can follow fireborn’s tutorial for installing skins but instead use the scarab mod installer and when you get to the CustomKnight folder, create a folder inside it called Skins, then do what you’re told to do in the CustomKnight folder but instead with the Skins folder

Hey, me and my friend ary trying to play hollow knight multiplayer and it doesnt work. we have tried downloading HKMP to modinstaller 1 on 1.4.3.2 and HKMP to scarab on 1.5. The mod works, we enter and see the enter ip etc. but both of us can not join the other, only host a server. Everytime it just says ''connection failed'' for the one trying to join. Yes. You install it, and use it

• don't use it on a main file (as it permanently affects that file)
• if you want to use it on a new file, you need to create the file, then save and quit to the main menu, then join that file again.

Hey, I hope it's okay to ask this. I wanted to try modding Hollow Knight and tried to install the ModInstaller from NexusMods (I used it before with mods for another game, so I thought it would be okay). It doesn't open and only creates a file "AU.exe" (which I think is supposed to be auto-updater). A lot of people seem to have the same issue. Is there anyone who knows if it's a virus (has it been confirmed or something)? I'm sorry if it's not the right place to write this, I'm just scared

Backrolls should refer to Watcher Knight's, which have a Backroll atttack that was missing on a lot of patches.
Sleepy CG probably refers to CG sleeping through various attacks (like spells)

Presumably, Spore Shroom HK affects whether or not HK is affected by Spore Shroom

The patch you're on matters, yes. They were mentioning it because Current Patch modding has a proper Mod Menu, and they thought that I was referring to that.

Did you use the "Change Path" button on Scarab? If so, you need to make sure that you set it to the folder that contains hollow_knight.exe.

And where did you get the game from?
