So, especially because you're on Mac, you're gonna wanna figure out which patch you want to be on.
If you want to play Rando specifically, then you may want to go back to 1432, as most rando stuff is on that patch (like the Map Mod for it).

That being said, there is a Rando port that's on 1.5, and Rando4 (the next gen of rando) should be out for 1.5 within a couple of weeks, sooo more Rando resources will start popping up after that.

As far as the issues your having-- there's a thing that can happen on Mac where iirc the Mod Installers / Scarab just chooses the wrong installation path entirely.
On Scarab, you can most likely fix it by using the "Change Path" button. For 1432 you'll need to go edit the memory file for it, which is... somewhere

It sounds like you're seeing everyone as your Custom Knight skin, instead of HKMP skin. You need to make sure that everyone has the HKMP skins setup the same way.
And you said you know how the work on 1.5-- it's the same thing for 1432, so I'm not sure what's confusing to you.

I'm trying to get a randomizer working, got it installed and everything, I boot up the game and it seems to be fine, the menuing is normal, then I launch and it doesn't work, what mods do I need installed other than the randomizer mod and the api is runs on?
