Hi there. I hate to be the new player with a bunch of questions, but
I was trying to get multiplayer working with me and a friend, and I'm having trouble with customknight skins- I want them to show unique skins to help us differentiate from us.
I have custom knight installed on both, but skins on my account (only default on my friend's)

If you actually have the game on GoG, then it should work.
If you're using a pirated copy that "says" it's from GoG, then it won't work.

I'm having an issue with getting the randomizer to work. I have HK downpatched to the stable patch, I have mod installer 2, with all of the mods installed and enabled, including randomizer 3. Because it installed the ModdingApi, it replaces a file in your game with a modded version, this is what allows mods to be loaded

Okay, so, im a dummy and need help.
I've installed Scarab. Had it installed, but told me to install latest version, so I do so. I'm unsure where to put the files, so I take the Scarab application folder and two dll's and throw 'em in a folder that sits on my desktop. I'm not sure if they have to be somewhere, figured that might be a problem. Anyways.
I currently have four mods, Death Counter, Toggleable Bindings, Glass Souls, and Vasi. No other dependent mods are mentioned.
I've tried launching the game on most recent and 1.4.3.2, but nothing indicates that my computer even knows these mods exist. No loading bar at beginning, no mod setting in menu.

the scarab folder is best placed on your desktop, so that's fine

Long answer: Not in any traditional or conventional sense. The console versions aren't the same type of build as the PC versions, and the modding that's done on PC isn't compatible with them. You can look up a convoluted way to replace the Knight's skin with a CustomKnight one, but that's about it afaik.

If you're switching from 1.5 to 1.4.3.2 then it's fine. If you're going to earlier versions it may have some side effects on your saves, you can always back them up.

If you're switching to 1.4, you don't really need to anymore, most the mods have been updated to 1.5, just get scarab. Unless you know the one you're looking for is specifically only on 1.4
