I change to 1.4.3.2 patch, installed mod installer, installed a few mods, and tried to open the game but got this error 😭

Well, I bought it in 2019 (Windows), and although it's not great, it works fine, with the previous version of the multiplayer mod it worked fine.

That's because mi1 was updated since the last time you used it, redownload it. Or if it's been a long time, Hollow Knight has a new-ish update which has a new installer, if you're not looking to use a Randomizer then download Scarab and use that instead

Not sure what you're asking, are you asking for a mod that would be good to change the game experience up? If so then randomizer 3 is good enough for that, youc an also try Hollow Point (Adds Guns) which works with randomizer

So Seresharps Multiworld Mod is the one we're using and it points us to a mod installer which says we have to have the "latest stable patch" now i know how to fix that issue atleast with the scarab thing in Pins but it is the correct mod installer yes?

No, if a mod isn't on Scarab it's because it hasn't been updated yet. Pretty much all the mods for 1.5 are on scarab. If you want a mod not on Scarab, downpatch your game and get mod installer 1/2. There's a guide in the pins

I don't know the fix for the actual problem, but you can use an external program (steam has one built in I believe) where you map your controller buttons to keyboard keys.

I think the DS controllers and the switch Pro controllers are the most common controllers it happens on? Xbox one's are usually fine.
