I believe there's a demo for it, it should work like any other skin but you just place the edited sprite sheet of whatever enemy it is instead of the knight sprite sheet

Eh, very few people will do that. But someone may attempt to make said mod and then be dissapointed when you release it out of nowhere. Doesn't mean you have to share but it's another angle to consider

?saves Well for one, you don't seem to have installed any mods, or if you did, and one of those mods happens to be either Benchwarp or CustomKnight, you need to head to your save files and delete the "Globalsettings" files for those mods (or all mods). Also, the mods tab (on 1.4) is pretty much just to disable mods in-game, and some mods don't even come with that feature, all that matters is that they're in the top left corner

I somehow broke my hollow knight and now whenever I open the game the game files WILL NOT load. I had to delete my hollow knight files ande reinstall the game to get it to work again then I tried the mods again. IT BROKE AGAIN. I did this TWO more times. Mod installer 2 is a bit better than 1 overall, but it doesn't show you any of the manually installed mods. That usually doesn't matter though, and it has a "mods folder" button so you can see what is actually in it

hi, mantis gods arent working for me. im running current patch with scarab, my other mods are working (custom knight, golden godhome, QoL,). Sisters of battle in godhome is still sisters of battle, not mantis gods. It is the same on both my godseeker save and my steel soul one.

This kinda depends on how you want to do it.
Here's a kinda break-down:
No matter what you'll need

  • Change to patch 1.4.3.2
  • Use Mod Installer or Mod Installer 2 to install Randomizer 3.0 (which should auto-install the other mods you need: Benchwarp, QoL, ModCommon, Serecore, and Vasi).

Then you need to decide if you want Multiworld (You both are playing "separately", but items are shuffled between your two worlds. In this mode, you could find your friend's Mantis Claw, for example), or ItemSync (You both play the same run, and if one of you picks up something, it goes to all people playing).
Pick ONE. you cannot use both.

When you're setting up the run, it'll ask for a URL. Use 18.189.16.129 for that. Then you both join the same room name (keep the name lowercase).

Note: Those .zips come with a copy of randomizermod3.0. Don't use that one, it's slightly older. The one on Mod Installer is the most up-to-date right now.

You can also use HKMP if you want to see eachother / interact with eachother while playing.
